A Cafe with Character - Welcome to Seaways Cafe, a family-run business established in 1974 and located in the stunning location of Fridaythorpe, near the Yorkshire Wolds Way trail. Our cafe has become famous amongst bikers for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, hearty food, accommodating car park, and fantastic scenery that's just waiting to be explored.

As you step inside our cafe, you will be greeted by the aroma of delicious homecooked food, including hearty pies,* chips, hot butties, and full English breakfasts, all made fresh and with love.

But Seaways Cafe is more than just a place to eat. You can shop in our cafe for local produce and honey, all made by us, and we even have a gift shop where you can find unique items to take home as souvenirs of your visit.

Our cafe is also the perfect base for exploring the local area, with good routes to the coast and being central to all the nearby towns and with our prime location in the heart of the wolds, enjoy breathtaking views and the peaceful sounds of nature.

    We stopped off for a night whilst walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way and could not have been more comfortable or better fed and looked after. 

    The accommodation was very cosy on a cold, damp night and the food all freshly prepared and delicious and ideal for hungry walkers. 

    Nothing was too much trouble for Mike and the cafe staff and we only wished we could stay longer.

    I have yet to be disappointed when visiting Seaways Cafe. Their service is first class and genuinely friendly. The food is outstanding presented in a scrupulously clean establishment and the make the best cup of tea in Yorkshire.

    We visited this lovely place during our Yorkshire Wolds way hike and we absolutely loved it! The owner and staff members were really lovely. The tent site and glamping pods looked nice and the lake in the middle was a good touch. 

    I loved the variety in foods they offered and I think it was a bikers night? So it was packed with cool bikers! Despite that we woke up early in the next morning, the owner was there already and made us sandwiches to take on the hike. 

    Highly recommend it and also their honey lip balm that I bought from there is really lovely!

    I just stayed at Seaways with a friend while walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way. 

    Mike was incredibly helpful in both ensuring we had somewhere to stay when we couldn't find anywhere to book after walking 16 miles: and also in staying late to cook us some food, which was great. 

    We had a good chat and Mike is a very enlightened, go-ahead and positive and we would wish all power to his elbow!

    We camped here for three nights and took the motorbike in the back of the van, hoping for good weather. The facilities were excellent, very clean and the kitchen well equipped. 

    Mike and the team were fantastic, so helpful, friendly and professional. The roads in the area are a bikers' dream, we were so lucky with the weather. 

    We love calling in at Seaways cafe when we are in the area. It's always welcoming and friendly, with a great atmosphere and a mix of bikers and walkers. We recommend it to everyone.

    Lovely stop-off point on Wolds Way, with very good camping facilities in a small site.  

    Loved the could-do attitude of the team. BeautBeautiful vegan sausage rolls and pasty kept me going for the following day.
